Learn to Sew Class 1
You got yourself a sewing machine! Congrats. Now how do you use it and take care of that impressive sewing machine? Or maybe you are curious about sewing but not sure if you want to invest in a machine. Come experience sewing on one of our wonderful Pfaff machines!
Sewing Class 1 you will have all your questions answered. You will learn everything about sewing machines and how to use it correctly. It can be one you own, or you can learn on one of our many Pfaff sewing machines. (this is not just a class of sample stitches with nothing to show for all you work.) You will sew something to be proud of in a fun filled class.
Our Sewing I Class has 3 parts.
1st What are all the gadgets that come with your machine? What are they and how do you use them to make sewing easy and fun?
2nd How do I take care of my machine? Does different needles and thread affect your sewing projects?
3rd You will make an easy project that will teach you all the basic techniques and then take the directions home to make more.
Project - Pillowcase
Make a pillowcase with decorative cording for your use in one session. Learn how make piping and put in your projects for a beautiful décor. Pillowcases in stores can cost a fortune and it can be hard to find what you want. Now you can make your own.
Like all of our sewing classes, there is a maximum of 4 students, so you will get lots of teacher attention. This is beginner class for people who desire to begin sewing for the first time or need that complete refresher course.
One 2 hour sessions. Fee: $55
Tools and materials suggested (Available at Sewing Nuts for purchase):
Scissors
Pins
Seam Ripper
Tape measure
Chalk or Fabric Pen
Zipper/cording foot for your machine
1 yd piping cording (1/4 or )
Fabric - 1/2 yard total of cotton/woven fabric (1/8 yd. for top of pillowcase and 3/8 yd. for bottom. Can be two different pieces of fabric for a decorative and fun pillowcase.) This class provides you with the class pillowcase kit.

All classes purchased through the website will need to print receipt of payment and receive class certificates at location. The Certificates may be mailed to you. Please specify what your preference is for your purchase of these classes and provide the needed information.
